The Ford Ranger is currently out in foreign markets but not available in the United States. Ford said that the new Ford Ranger will hit the market sometime in 2019 and will sport new powertrain options and styling. On the other hand, the Ford Bronco is expected to roll out in 2020.

Motoring experts said that Ford is reviving the Bronco brand as part of the company's effort to capitalize on the growing buzz among enthusiasts who have always claimed the passion for rugged vehicles, as well as new customers looking for big vehicles due to the current drop in gas prices.

In a statement acquired by USA Today, Fields said, "There is so much love out there for the Bronco. If you look at that rugged SUV segment, over the last five years it's like the second-fastest-growing segment within SUVs."

Ford first introduced the off-road vehicle Bronco in 1966. Production of the rugged SUV ended in 1996, and Ford decided to replace it with the Expedition.
