A CD and DVD containing singing legend Whitney Houston's first ever public performance and last stage in 2012 is scheduled for release in November 11 as a tribute to the late diva.
The CD and DVD, entitled 'Whitney Houston: Her Greatest Performances' is said to be her first live album which will feature her legacy as one of the greatest singers of her time, according to a statement released by Clive Davis, who is Houston's mentor.

In the episode of 'The Today Show' the previous Tuesday where Davis made an appearance, he explained about how he has come to the decision of releasing the album, saying that Houston has been, without a doubt, the greatest vocalist in the world in the 80s and 90s.
Davis described the album as 'phenomenal', stating that though Houston hasn't been in her best condition during the last two or three years of life, there is no one quite like her. This aspect of the diva's life is what the CD and DVD are aiming to make the public see.
The 82-year old mentor to Houston shared that it had been difficult to go through the footages for the selection of the final track list.
"It was bittersweet," says Davis, adding that he couldn't help but be amazed by her performances. Davis said that it was a 'marvel' seeing her blossom into a star at the age of 19 and become one of the most iconic singers of time, but also expressed that it was sad that she had to die at a young age.
The CD will feature 16 live songs while the DVD will be featuring 19 live performances by the singer, including her first public performance on 'The Merv Griffin Show' in 1983 as well as her rendition of the 'The Star Spangled Banner' for the Super Bowl in 1991.
It would also include Houston's songs which she performed live but never recorded.
