Under the deal, B2X will offer comprehensive services in all its 31 walk-in service centers in India. In addition, the company will provide clients superb face-to-face support. They will set up shops throughout the country, offering support and repair functions similar to what Xiaomi is doing for its clients.

B2X’s service is based on its Smartbar, which offers in-store service solution for support and service of smartphones as well as accessories, whether they are under warranty or not. All their services are completely integrated with its ‘Smartcare Technology’ platform, which offers real-time visibility on all service interactions.

“It’s a great honor for us to expand our partnership with Xiaomi to the Indian market. We are confident that we will add a lot of value to Xiaomi’s go-to-market approach in India and the success of the Xiaomi brand,” Rainer Koppitz, CEO of B2X, said in a press release.

This is not the first time that Xiaomi and B2X have been working together. Both companies have a similar deal in Europe, where B2X look after the after sales service of Mi accessories. B2X also provides customer support for Xiaomi’s clients in Europe.

In 2016, Xiaomi has also joined HCL Care Services for exclusive Experience Service Centers (ESCs) to offer service in Tier-I and Tier-II cities across India. Since launching its products in India in 2014, Xiaomi has become the fourth smartphone manufacturer in the country with 7.4 percent of market share.
