Gigi Hadid paid a rather sweet and romantic birthday tribute to her boyfriend Zayn Malik on Instagram.

The supermodel went on social media on Thursday to greet her fashionable heartthrob boyfriend with an artsy black-and-white photo of him posing by a balcony. She wrote in the caption, “happy birthday my handsome! so lucky to know and love a soul like yours. wishing you the best year ever!!!”

Within minutes, her post was able to amass up to more than 100,000 “likes,” which is really no surprise considering they have built a larger fan base ever since they started dating and became one of the hottest, most attractive couples of today.

Malik also went on social media early Thursday to thank his fans for greeting him a happy birthday by writing, “Getting all old and sh*t! Thank you for your love and thoughts today x,” along with an adorable caricature of himself.

The couple started dating in late 2015. Soon after their intriguing relationship was confirmed, they started hitting red carpets together, the first one being at the Met Gala in early 2016, and gracing magazines like Vogue, which featured a steamy photoshoot of the pair.

In November late last year, Hadid also hosted and presented the New Artist of the Year award to the former One Directioner at the American Music Awards. Since then, they have been showing off their affection for each other on their social media accounts by posting couple selfies that also don’t take long before getting millions of likes.
