NBA All-Stars Blake Griffin and Carmelo Anthony are mentioned in a wild, three-team deal involving seven players from the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, and New York Knicks.
Griffin, 27, has long been a target of the Celtics since last year when rumors went out that Clippers head coach Doc Rivers is ready to blow up his team's Big Three of Griffin, Chris Paul, and DeAndre Jordan soon.

Although the Clippers have qualified for the playoffs in all the five seasons the Big Three has been together so far, the trio has never led the team past the second round, which led to speculations that Rivers could push the trade button anytime.
Meanwhile, Boston is reportedly still looking for the superstar player that will become the face of the franchise. The 17-time champion team has been linked to a lot of NBA superstars in the past several months and Griffin has been one of them.
With their many trade assets, the Celtics are capable of pulling off a deal for Griffin. Inquisitr reported that Jae Crowder, Amir Johnson, Marcus Smart, and two first-round draft picks could be the trade package Boston is preparing to offer LA for the five-time All-Star power forward.
Latest trade rumors have emerged that a third team, the Knicks, could join the deal, which could make it a potential midseason blockbuster that might alter the playoffs cast for this season.
New York is reported to be including main man Carmelo Anthony in the trade as the player and team president Phil Jackson is rumored to be growing apart because of all the struggles and losing that the Knicks had faced in the past couple of seasons.
According to Inquisitr, the terms of the trade are as follows: 1.) Griffin, Wes Johnson, and Sasha Vujacic will go to Boston, 2.) Anthony will go to Los Angeles, and 3.) Crowder, Johnson, Smart, and the Nets' 2018 draft-pick will be received by New York.
However, Bleacher Report noted that Anthony, who has a no-trade clause in his contract, will not approve any trades involving him at the moment. The article said that the nine-time All-Star is "unwilling to green-light a trade out of New York, even with how bad it's turned" and that he has "never considered a trade" at this time.
