Representatives of nations at a Paris conference that aimed to kick starting peace talks between Israel and Palestine have warned both sides against taking unilateral action.
In a statement, the delegates affirmed their commitment to the two-state solution. They also avoided criticizing US President-elect Donald Trump's suggestion that the US move its Israeli embassy to Jerusalem.

Palestinians have welcomed the conference, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed it, terming it as 'rigged'.
Israel and Palestine were not called to attend the day-long summit, which was attended by 70 nations; however, both were invited to hear the meeting's conclusions.
The decision not to invite the two parties led the United Kingdom, which decided to attend in "an observer status," to question the effectiveness of the conference in helping solve the conflict.
In a statement, the UK Foreign Office said it had "particular reservations" about a conference "intended to advance peace between the parties that does not involve them."
The UK also expressed concern about the timing of the event, just days before Trump is inaugurated as US President, and Israel's opposition to the conference.
The summit comes at a time of increased tensions in the region. There are fears that Trump's plan to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem could serve to stoke them further.
Jerusalem is the most sensitive issue of the entire conflict. Palestinians view East Jerusalem as the capital of their future state, while Israel claims the entire city as its capital.
On Saturday, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abass warned that such a move could "bury the hopes for a two-state solution."
