Meizu M5 Smartphone Now Available for Pre-Order in Russia

Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has announced that its latest affordable device dubbed as the Meizu M5 smartphone is now available for pre-order in Russia. The 16GB variant of the phone is priced at around RUB 10,990 ($185.35), while the 32GB will be cost at RUB 12,990 ($219.08).

The Russian edition of the Meizu M5 smartphone will be available in three colors - Blue, Gold, and Black color options. The company is currently offering a special deal on the device; consumers who pre-ordered the smartphone may have the chance to win a free Meizu EP21 headset.
As for the specifications, the Meizu M5 smartphone features a decent 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display screen with 2.5D curved protective glass, pixel density of 282ppi, and renders a brightness of 380 cd/m2 with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at speed of 1.5GHz, which is paired with ARM Mali-T860 GPU. As mentioned earlier, the device comes in two variants - the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB. Both of these versions support memory expansion up to 128GB.
The gadget is also quite sleek and lightweight with a size of 147.2 x 72.8 x 8 mm and weighs around 138 grams. It sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with burst mode, phase detection autofocus, f/2.2 aperture five-element lens, and dual flash support. On the front is a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture four-element lens snapper.
The M5 smartphone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is pre-loaded and integrated with Meizu's latest customized Flyme user interface laid on top of it. Fueling inside the phone is a massive 3,070mAh capacity battery. The device also supports various LTE and VoLTE networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and A-GPS.
