Police: Teenager Charged For Rubbing Genitals On Customer's Pizza Takeout Order

A teenager from Texas, who reportedly rubbed his genitals on a patron's pizza pie, has been charged by authorities with tampering with a consumer product. He was arrested on Friday following the report of the outraged pizza chain customer, and was released on a $10,000 bail.
An 18-year-old employee from Papa Murphy's, a pizza chain that has more than 1300 branches, allegedly committed a second-degree felony by rubbing his genitals on the pizza ordered by a customer. In the police interview conducted by Detective Chris Brown, the teenager "admitted to rubbing his testicles on Mr. Bradley's pizza". In describing the gravity of the situation, Brown pointed out that "substances such as fecal matter can be transferred by sweat to the scrotum and could have transferred to the pizza when Symonds rubbed his scrotum on the pizza."

Michael Symonds, the Texas teenager accused of the felony, told the responding officers that his actions stemmed from his anger towards the customer who called in an order a few minutes before closing time. He said that he included rubbing the pizza in his genitals in the preparation process of the patron's takeout order.
The customer, Brent Bradley, said he caught Symonds in the act after he arrived at the Papa Murphy's pizza place located in Georgetown, which is 25 miles from the north of Austin, to pick up his order. In his criminal complaint, Bradley stated that the 18-year-old was rubbing his testicles on the pizza he had ordered.
Upon learning that his act had been discovered by the customer, Symonds immediately gave an apology. "Man, I am really sorry, that was stupid," the teenager immediately said as he attempted to pacify Bradley's outrage over his actions. The customer then questioned the teenager of his age to which he responded that he was already 18 years old. "So you are old enough to know better than to put your balls on someone's pizza," Bradley pointed out. Symonds could only agree to the client's observation.
The store manager reportedly confronted Symonds regarding the incident the following day in which the teenager admitted to his wrongdoing. The 18-year-old reiterated his reason that he "did what he did because the customer had called in the order right before closing time." In addition, Symonds confessed that he would have "probably" given the pizza to Bradley had he not been discovered.
Police records show that the pizza Bradley ordered was a large stuffed pie with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and extra cheese.
