IFA, the world largest consumer electronics fair, will open in Berlin, Germany on September 6th. Though the curtain of this year's IFA has not risen yet, Chinese merchants' momentum has attracted great attention of German media. It's worthy mentioning there appears a subtle change for the judgment of Chinese brands. According to German "Daily Mirror", "nowadays, Chinese brands are the magic codes for merchants." And "Chinese products has dominated German market from smart phones to televisions and refrigerators." The old saying that "Chinese cheap commodities are coming" doesn't exist any more.

The determination for Chinese brands to enter the European and German markets can be seen from this year's IFA. It is known that among the 1440 exhibitors of this year's Berlin consumer electronics fair, 450 exhibitors out of them come from China, including many Chinese major brands such as Huawei, Haier, Hisense, and Tsinghua Tongfang, and also including plenty of small and medium-sized enterprises. According to IFA director JensHeithecker, in the past several years, Chinese exhibitors are in the majority in the consumer electronics unlimited trade show. And Chinese exhibitors always bring a large number of interesting and innovative goods. Above all, the quality of Chinese products has been improved significantly in the past few years.
In German's point, many Chinese products, including Huawei, have a high performance to price ratio, which means consumers could buy a high quality Chinese product with less money, comparing to the same products made in other countries. In this year's Berlin consumer electronics fair, Hisense will launch a 50-inch Ultra HD TV at the price of € 1999, with a fourfold resolution comparing to an ordinary HD TV.
As for major appliances, nowadays, Haier begins to sell its products to Germany. Two days before the trade show, Haier has started to build a residential model in Berlin, in order to let German experience the refrigerators and washing machines made in China by themselves.
