TENAA Listing Reveals Gionee F5L Specs

A new smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Gionee has surfaced on the website of China's telecommunications certification agency (TENAA). The new device is dubbed simply as the Gionee F5L. It packs a rather generic set of hardware spaces.
From its set of specs, it is easy to tag the Gionee F5L as a mid-range smartphone. At its heart is a MediaTek chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, according to Giz China. The phone has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space with possible external card support for additional storage space.

The Gionee F5L has a 5.3-inch display with 720p resolution. The phone weighs 162 grams and measures 7.7mm thick. It has a 13-megapixel rear facing main camera and an 8-megapixel front facing snapper for selfie shots and video calling. The phone is expected to run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The Gionee F5L has a 4000mAh battery pack. The phone is available in two colors; white and gold.
According to Giz Bot, the Gionee F5L might be exclusively available in China and that the phone will have the official name of Gionee F5 Lite.
The Gionee F5L is expected to cost less than $100 given its set of specs. Gionee is yet to confirm the phone's official release date. There are speculations that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer might unveil the device at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event next month in Spain.
