Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was named the 2016 All-Football Best Player of the Year by fans from China to receive the award through a vote.
The 31-year-old Portugal international received the citation days after he won the Best FIFA Men's Player award. That was the fourth time he had won the Ballon d'Or award.

"Thanks for the support of Chinese fans. Glad to be the 懂球帝 (All-Football) 2016 best player," Ronaldo wrote on his social media with a photo of him carrying his All-Football trophy, according to the Mirror.
There were rumors earlier this month that Ronaldo was offered a whopping $107 million annual salary by an unnamed Chinese Super League squad, which he turned down to stay at Real Madrid.
The CSL club is also said to have offered Madrid $321 million as a transfer fee, which would have dwarfed the current world record of $112 million spent on the transfer of Paul Pogba from Juventus to Manchester United last summer.
Meanwhile, The Sun reported that Real is planning to sell Ronaldo to China by 2019 to recoup the $100 million that the capital city club invested on the Portugal captain back in 2009.
Ronaldo, who has been with Real for seven-and-a-half seasons now, has just signed a £365,000-a-week contract extension that will expire in 2021. He will be 36 by then.
There were also rumors from local Spanish papers that Real president Florentino Perez had "wanted to get rid of the Euro 2016 winner for two years" after Ronaldo supported teammates Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos during a locker room dispute in 2015.
Ronaldo said to have had his best years past him and it could be time to sell the former Manchester United forward before his value dips significantly.
Ronaldo is Real Madrid's all-time leading goalscorer with 383 goals in a total of 372 appearances in all competitions so far.
