The shocking incident took place in Youngor Wildlife Park located in the Ningbo city. The name of the victim is still not known and is still not known why and how the victim entered the tiger enclosure.
The news portal Zjol.com.cn reported that the visitors started shouting at nearly 2:30 P.M as soon as they spotted a man being haggled by a tiger. The alert forced the authorities to close down the zoo while the police and local forestry bureau staff arrived in another 15 minutes.
The victim was rushed to the hospital after the rescue operation got over, but doctors pronounced him dead.
Recounting the horrifying scene, one eye witness said: "I saw the tiger mauling the person, whose face was covered with blood. Every time he sat up, the tiger pushed him down again."
Meanwhile, the chilling videos of tiger attack is doing rounds in the online world, with one video showing one tiger latching onto the man while several other tigers stand by and watch. This is the second tiger attack incident in nearly six months. Last year, in July a 57-year-old woman was brutally killed by tiger as she tried to rescue daughter from a tiger attack at a wildlife park in Beijing.
