Hong Kong’s gambling magnate places a hefty US$20 million single purchase order for Rolls-Royce Phantoms.
Billionaire Stephen Hung placed a single order for 30 Rolls-Royce Phantoms through Louis XIII Holdings, a casino company he owns. Hung said the luxury cars would be used to transport guests coming in his proposed new casino establishment in Macau.

The new casino in Macau was due to open its doors in 2016 and would compete with other gaming establishments in the country. Macau has reached a hefty gambling revenue last year valued US$45 billion. This was seven times bigger compared to the gambling revenue earned by Las Vegas in the same period.
Hung said Louis XIII and Rolls Royce share the same philosophy. The two companies believed that they were to deliver a genuine experience to their most discerning customers.
The billionaire has been widely known for his flamboyant display of wealth. His profile in Wall Street Journal reported that Hung purchased nine luxury cars last year. This included a Bentley valued US$1 million.
The gambling magnate also added that two of the cars he purchased would come with an internal and external gold plate accents. The other cars would also have exquisite interior and exterior designs. They would also come with special Graff Luxury Watches. The orders placed for the luxury fleet were also the most expensive ever commissioned for the Phantoms.
Rolls Royce CEO Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes said the company has been honored and delighted for Hung’s single yet biggest order of Phantoms in history. The CEO also promised that Hung’s fleet of Phantoms would be an impressive sight in booming Macau. He also said that Hung’s choice for the Phantoms showed that Rolls Royce fleets are the first choice for those seeking to experience world class luxury.
Deborah Valdez-Hung, the magnate’s wife, has been identified to be the owner of Hong Kong’s most popular car. Mrs. Hung owns a hot pink Rolls Royce displaying a vanity plate that reads “DEBORAH”.
