Ever Banega's agent has recently denied rumors that the Inter Milan midfielder is on his way to the Chinese Super League in a multi-million Tianjin Quanjian move.
Football Italia reported that Marcelo Simonian, Banega's agent, confirmed that there is "nothing true" about the rumors spreading that the Argentina international is heading out of Italy and into the China top-flight.

"There's nothing true," Simonian said with a sigh as he talked to local reporters in Italy. "These are just classic market rumors, just chatter."
The Chinese winter transfer window is still open until the end of the month and so speculations have persisted with regards to Banega's potential switch.
Previous rumors went out that newly-promoted CSL side Tianjin Quanjian, now managed by Italian football legend Fabio Cannavaro, is set to lure Banega out of Inter with an $8.5 million per year salary offer and that the Argentinian is considering to accept it.
Tianjin is also said to be prepared to pay I Nerazzurri $26.5 million as the transfer fee to acquire the services of the two-time UEFA Europa League Squad of the Season awardee, as per Calcio Mercato.
The report even mentioned that Quanjian representatives have visited San Siro last Sunday to scout Banega and "to discuss the possibility of a switch before the end of the month", but the midfielder is presently sidelined by a knee injury.
Banega, 28, is just in his first season with La Beneamata after he joined them last summer via free-agency following the expiration of his contract with La Liga outfit Sevilla. He has not found favor under Inter manager Stefano Pioli and is having a hard-time breaking through the squad's starting XI.
Banega has only scored two goals in 19 appearances in all competitions for Inter this season.
Quanjian is promoted to the China top-flight this season after finishing as champions in last season's China League One competitions. They hired Cannavaro in the middle of last season and the Italian coach led his team to the title from being in eighth place in the standings during his takeover.
