To recall, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note smartphone was initially launched in August last year in India in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants, which is coupled with 32GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is made available in Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey color options.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD display screen with 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels resolution, which supports TheaterMax technology for conversion of regular content into immersive VR content. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor clocked at a speed of 1.8GHz, paired with Mali-T860 GPU.
On the camera side, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with PDAF and a wide-angle 8-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video chats. The phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is paired with Lenovo's latest VibeUI user interface laid on top of it. Fueling the handset is a 3500 mAh capacity battery.
Connectivity options available on the phone include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, OTG support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. One of the highlight features of the handset is its fingerprint scanner, which is placed right below the camera module on the back panel of the smartphone. It also packed with Dolby Atmos-powered speakers, with the technology also extending to the 3.5mm headphone jack.
