With Rockstar closing its servers for a short period of time this Thursday and Friday, in addition to leaked information on new weapons and a vehicle found in source code, fans believe a potential DLC will be coming to Grand Theft Auto V on Tuesday, Sep. 23.
Information has been leaked from Xbox Live source code describing an assault M4 Sniper Rifle and an assault XM25 Grenade Launcher that can be seen in the photo below, as well as a new monster truck that could potentially be coming as the next DLC.

Rockstar already released a monster truck called the Liberator for the "Independence Day" Update. That vehicle, however, is no longer available to purchase.
The Xbox Live source code is essentially a method GTA enthusiasts use to leak a lot of DLCs. All items that get put up on the Xbox Live Marketplace must first be logged in the source code.
Anyone who's able to look through the texture files of source code knows of the Updates before the DLC is released.
YouTube's "DomisLive" and hacker "Chrom3xModz" previously used the source code to leak info on the "I'm not a Hipster" and "Independence Day" Updates.
Chrom3xmodz also leaked info about the thermite bomb, an image of which Rockstar accidently released in the game under the weapons menu. According to reports, the thermite bomb will be released with the highly anticipated Heists DLC.
In addition to the leaked weapons and vehicle, Rockstar will reportedly be closing their servers for maintenance from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. beginning tomorrow (Thursday) as well as the following day on Friday.
Rockstar could simply be closing down the servers to patch all the mods, but GTA enthusiasts including YouTube's "DomisLive" now believe it could have something to do with preparing for the next 1.17 Update.
It makes the most sense that Rockstar will release the assault sniper, assault grenade launcher and thermite bomb as part of the Heists Update, considering they'd all be very useful in online Heists missions.
Is Rockstar going to finally release Heists this month for the 1.17 Update?
DLCs are typically released on a Tuesday, so gamers can expect to receive the Update as early as Tuesday Sep. 23.
