Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning FC is set to host A-League champions Adelaide United FC at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre on Wednesday in a Group H match in the 2017 AFC Champions League tournament.
Jiangsu Suning, runners-up to six-straight CSL champions Guangzhou Evergrande in the China top-flight last season, opened the group stage with a tough 1-0 victory over K-League Classic squad Jeju United at the Jeju World Cup Stadium on Feb 22.

Former Chelsea star Ramires netted the winning goal on the stroke of full-time to snatch away the win and three points for head coach Choi Yong-soo's side.
Ramires' compatriot, winger Alex Teixeira, will also be available for Jiangsu in the match against the Reds despite being subbed out in the game versus Jeju because of a muscle strain, Goal reported. Jiangsu's third import is Colombian striker Roger Martinez.
Choi is predicted to utilize the team's familiar 3-5-2 formation against Adelaide, which will feature Teixeira and Martinez in a one-two goalscoring duo up front while Ramies will be in the middle of the midfield behind the other two foreigners.
Meanwhile, Adelaide was thrashed by Japan's Gamba Osaka, 0-3, in their group opener also on Feb. 22 at the Hindmarsh Stadium in South Australia.
According to scouting reports, Reds head coach Guillermo Amor's squad is struggling in defense and the team has been giving away too many goals in their most recent fixtures, as evidenced by their loss to Osaka.
It would be a problem especially going against a high-scoring pair like Teixeira and Martinez, but Adelaide defender Ben Garuccio is confident that they can compete with such world-class players, as per ESPN.
"For me, that's awesome. These are the players you want to be coming up against in your career," said Garuccio. "Players like Ramires, Alex Teixeira - he was linked with Liverpool and the next minute he was in Jiangsu. For me, it's really exciting to play against these players. I want to relish this opportunity as much as I can."
