Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has announced that its latest device - the Huawei Honor 8 Lite smartphone - is now available in the Middle East for the price of Dh 749 ($203.94). The Honor 8 Lite is available in Blue, Black, Gold, and White color.

The Huawei Honor 8 Lite smartphone features a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD capacitive display screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels and 424 pixels-per-inch pixel density. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 processor clocked at a speed of 2.1Ghz, which is paired with 3GB of RAM onboard.

The Huawei Honor 8 Lite smartphone comes equipped with a built-in 16GB of internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. On the camera side, the phone flaunts a 12-megapixels rear facing camera and an 8-megapixel front sensor for selfies. The phone runs on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Huawei's UI (EMUI) 5.0 customized user interface.

Fueling the Huawei Honor 8 Lite smartphone is a non-removable Li-Po 3,000 mAh capacity battery. Other features the device offers include 4G/LTE network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/nac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, Bluetooth version 2.1 with A2DP and LE. The sensors on the phone are Fingerprint (rear-mounted), gyro, proximity, accelerometer, and compass.

The Huawei Honor 8 Lite smartphone has a body dimension of 147.20 mm x 72.94 mm x 7.60 mm and weighs 147 grams.
