Leeco to Launch Le X850 Smartphone in April

Leeco will unveil Le X850 smartphone on April 11 according to a Weibo post. Well-known leakster kjuma has posted some hints on the Chinese social media network Weibo that Leeco is going to unveil officially the Le X850 this coming April. Le X850 has received TENAA certification in China in 2016.

The Le X850 could act as a successor of sorts for the Le Pro 3, which was released in October 2016. The two smartphones are quite similar. However, Le X850 has a slightly bigger and higher-res screen, a dual rear camera setup, and a higher-res selfie shooter.
Leeco’s Le X850 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. There are two variants including 4GB and 6GB of RAM with three internal storage options of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The higher end variant is expected to include 128GB of internal memory.
The upcoming handset will feature 5.7-inch display flanked with a 2.5D curved glass and a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. In terms of camera department, the device will feature a 13MP dual-camera setup at the back while there will be 16MP front camera for selfie snapper. The smartphone may sport a brushed metal body and powered by 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
For connectivity options, it includes 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS and USB Type-C port. Le X850 will also have Dolby Atmos speaker and a fingerprint sensor at the back. The handset will be available in four color variants: Black, White, Gold, and Gray.
For the price, the handset’s cost will start at CNY 1799 (or $260). Succeeding prices are CNY 2099 (or $303) for 64GB, and CNY 2499 (or $361) for the 128GB variant.
