A man who was reprimanded for smoking inside the bus stabbed the bus driver on Saturday in Hubei province. In China, smoking inside vehicles are prohibited, and violators will be fined 20 yuan to 50 yuan.
As the bus was approaching a bus stop in Wuhan, Hubei, the unidentified suspect lit up a cigarette, which prompted the bus driver to give him a verbal warning to stop smoking inside the vehicle. The man then went to the front of the bus and assaulted the driver with a knife, Chinese media reported.
