A man in Northeast China really like dinosaur eggs, so much so that he stole 80 dinosaur eggs, local police said.
The man, who was only identified with his surname Wang, visited a dinosaur egg collector in Zhejiang province, eastern China. He pretended that he was interested to purchase some eggs. Wang and his three accomplices stole 80 fossilized dinosaur eggs on January 9 and flew to Shanghai. The three divided the eggs, with 27 of them going to Wang.

After months of searching, police received information that Wang returned to his hometown in Huanan County, Heilongjiang on March 4. Police asked Wang's relatives to persuade the dinosaur egg thief to turn himself in. Wang later gave himself up, and the police also caught his three accomplices.
The case is still under investigation, and the value of the dinosaur eggs he stole are still unknown.
