You have to do what you have to do. A doctor in China is making the rounds in social media for attending to a dying patient with his kid strapped onto his back.  

Dr. Xu Yilong, a doctor, director of the Emergency Department at Yushan People's Hospital, and a father of a three-month-old girl, was walking with his sweet little daughter on his back near the hospital at around 7pm on the 25th of March.

It was Dr. Xu's day off when the hospital called and told him that a patient was in critical condition. He rushed to the hospital in three minutes and immediately began the emergency procedures without putting his daughter down or wearing his medical uniform. 

Witnesses said that Dr. Xu treated the patient with his daughter still on his back for more than 10 minutes until the patient's situation improved. He only realized that he was still carrying his daughter when a patient on a nearby bed told him to put down the child. 

He put down his daughter and was able to bring the patient's condition under control. The patient was transferred to an intensive care unit. Dong, the patient's relative, said, "He carried his baby to save my uncle's life in the emergency ward. It really moved my family."  

A witness took the photo and shared it on WeChat, and has gone viral since then for the doctor's selflessness. "The doctor and nurses displayed a spirit of healing the wounded and rescuing the dying," she captioned the photo.
