Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced that its newest limited edition device dubbed as the Vivo V5 Plus IPL edition will be available in India this coming April 4. The smartphone is the company's way to celebrate IPL 2017, Season 10 in the country.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo V5 Plus Matte Black IPL Edition smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display screen with 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels resolution and protected by the fourth generation Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at a speed of 1.8GHz, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM onboard.

On the photography department, the Vivo V5 Plus sports a dual front-facing camera setup which includes 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors with Bokeh effect and Moonlight Glow flash support. On the front is a 16-megapixel sensor with LED flash. The cameras on the phone also features Panorama, HDR, Night, Face Beauty, PPT, Motion Track, Ultra HD, Fast, Voice Shutter, Professional, Slow, Timer, Gender Detection, Filter, Touch Capture, Palm, and Watermark.

The limited edition Vivo V5 Plus smartphone comes with a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via an external microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Vivo's latest customized user interface laid on top of it. Fueling the device is 3160 mAh capacity battery which is equipped with Vivo's fast charging technology support.

Other features the limited edition Vivo V5 Plus offers include Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, 4G with VoLTE, with Google Maps, GLONASS, Wifi-802.11 b/g/n, and Wi-Fi hotspot.
