A delivery man is facing five years in prison for raping a pregnant woman and causing injuries to her and her neighbor.
Yu, a 24-year-old delivery man for food courier Huoju, planned to rob pregnant Li, 25. She was three months pregnant at the time. Pretending to need Li's signature for things she ordered, Yu went to Li's house on November 25 last year. Li signed the papers and closed the door, which angered Yu.

He knocked again, and when the victim opened the door, he forced the door wide open and forced her to go to the bedroom. He hit her on the head with his motorcycle's U-lock and bind her hands with her belt.
Li, being pregnant and weak compared to Yu, did not resist her attacker. Yu decided to rape her and took photos of her nude. Li's neighbor Yuan the knocked on her door. She took the chance and called for help. Yuan fought with Yu, but he managed to escape by biting Yuan's fingers.
They immediately called the police. Doctors said that Li suffered bruises all over her body and Yuan's knuckles were injured.
The rapist went to Jiangxi province, his hometown, but turned himself over to the police after one week. Yu was previously jailed in 2012 for two years and eight months for theft.
