OnePlus 5 Model Name Surfaces Online

OnePlus is expected to launch another smartphone flagship with latest leaked screenshot of model name from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The screenshot was first spotted by website AndroidPure, showing the model number of OnePlus 5 which is A5000. Previous models OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T carried model numbers A3000 and A3010 respectively. It is expected that A5000 is the OnePlus 5. Previous rumors said that OnePlus is skipping the number four as it is linked with death in the Chinese culture.

OnePlus is set to unveil the device sometime in the second half of 2017 and with the leaks surfacing online, it could the OnePlus 5.
The upcoming OnePlus smartphone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. It is expected that it will sport 5.5-inch 2K display with 1080 x 2048 screen resolution.
OnePlus 5 will feature 23MP rear camera with features like optical image stabilisation, zoom, and flash. In the front, it will have a 16MP selfie camera. For the battery capacity, it will have 3,000 mAh.
Design wise, it will be a dual-edged screen and will include minimal front bezels which mean the fingerprint scanner could be moved to the back similar to other Android smartphones. The company may not change the front capacitive Android navigation buttons as well as the ability to enable on-screen buttons. OnePlus 5 will be 7mm thin and slightly slimmer compared to the predecessor.
Moreover, report said that OnePlus5 may feature ceramic body just like the Xiaomi Mi Mix. Price and the official launch date are yet to be announced.
