Xiaomi Rolls Out MIUI V8.2.4 Update for the Redmi Note 4 Smartphone in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has started rolling out an MIUI V8.2.4 MCFMIDL update for the Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India. The software update for the Redmi Note 4 weighs around 1.5GB file size.

Unfortunately, the update does not pack the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, but it is expected this huge size of update indicates towards Nougat rollout very soon. There are many bug fixes in the MIUI V8.2.4 update. It comes with a stable ROM, a newly improved layout for toggles in the Notification shade, full control over automated tasks, brand new system sounds, and ringtones.

New contact feature was also added in which it fixes duplicate contacts appeared after multiple imports from SIM card. It also fixes gallery photo errors which appeared in albums with a delay. In addition, the e-mail error was also fixed during exchange accounts.

As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display screen with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels and 2.5D curved glass panel. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered an Octa-Core Qualcomm (MSM8953) processor clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz, which is paired with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with a 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM's with 32GB/64GB of internal memory storages.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with 2GB of RAM and 32GB ROM storage is currently priced at Rs 9,999 ($155.10), the  3GB of RAM and 32GB ROM Priced at Rs, 10,999 ($170.61), while the 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM model cost at around Rs. 12,999 ($201.63).
