Hong Kong actor and restaurateur Bosco Wong belied rumors that he is dating Chinese actress Sun Xiaoxiao, insisting that she is just a 'god-sister' to him.
Wong was bombarded with questions about the real status of his relationship with Sun when he attended the gala premiere for his upcoming film "Golden Brother" with the actress and his mother on Monday.

According to the 33-year old actor, Sun is his mother's goddaughter, which then makes her his god-sister. The actor said there are just platonic relationships that could never develop into something else and his relationship with Sun is like that.
Referring to Sun as his 'little sister', he said he will help her develop her career in Hong Kong, as the actress has just signed a contract with a company to broaden her horizons.
Wong also said he brought Sun along with him to the gala so she could start building connections with others who are in the showbiz industry.
According to the "I Love Hong Kong" actor, the actress and his mother got along very well as both of them were devoted to their religion, Buddhism.
It has been previously reported that the 29-year old mainland actress has been making Wong's mother happy. Wong's mother and Sun are said to be following each other on Weibo as well.
Still, Wong asserted that his relationship with Sun is not how people think it is.
Wong and Sun first collaborated in the Chinese period drama entitled "Young Sherlock" where he played the lead role of Di Renjie, a detective best known as Judge Dee in the west.
Sun, on the other hand, portrayed the character of Tong Mengyao, a supporting role in the drama.
