Harlem Yu's Heart Surgery Won't Cancel Singapore Concert

Taiwanese singer and TV presenter Harlem Yu is recovering well from his heart surgery and taking enough rest at home in preparation for his Singapore concert on October 3.
Yu was discharged from hospital Wednesday following a successful heart surgery that was performed on him on Tuesday, after he complained of "chest discomfort" and later diagnosed with cardiac dysrythmia, or irregular heartbeat.

Yu's real condition was earlier kept from the media, with his manager saying in a statement that the singer was only going through a normal check up.
His doctor confirmed that the actor had been suffering from irregular pulse and heart rates due to fibrillations in his atria, which caused electric signals to travel in his system in a disorganized manner.
The "Qing Fei De Yi" singer is known to maintain a healthy lifestyle by exercising regularly, but work-related stress is said to have caused his heart condition.
"Everything has been taken care of and there is no problem now," said Yu, while his manager confirmed that his scheduled concert in Singapore on October 3 will push through.
Nasty rumors surfaced, however, saying that Yu's ex-wife, Annie Yi, may have been a contributing factor to the singer's bad heart condition.
Yi, who was divorced from Yu in 2009, took to Weibo to lash back at people who were blaming her for Yu's illness.
In her post, Yi said that she and Yu were not fated to be together, but they had been working hard to be good parents to their children. She questioned why people could not understand the post-divorce relationship she had with Yu, insisting instead that they hated each other.
In the lengthy post, Yi wished her former husband well, and even hinted that Yu was already dating someone, but later deleted her post.
