It has been previously reported that Kwan has been suffering from a brain tumor for 20 years now. The reports before stated that the actress discovered that she a tumor back in 1994 and has since been controlling her condition through medication.
This discovery allegedly resulted to the actress' decision to make a last will at the age of 32 and quit show business. There had also been news that the actress was taking her condition in a positive light and is coping with it.
Additionally, it was reported that she has recently been consulting with an oncologist. Kwan was said to have been spotted with her friend on their way to a clinic and that said friend was also suffering from brain cancer.
As opposed to this report, Kwan said that she went to a dental clinic at that time to have her teeth cleaned and she never went to consult an oncologist.
Kwan later assured the public that she is healthy and that she fortunately is not suffering from cancer. She also requested for the media to stop reporting false information. The actress has also threatened to exercise her right to take legal action if reporters will not stop reporting about the issue.
The 51-year old actress said that the news has been a bother to her, but at the same time, she thanked the public for their concern over her health.
