While Ng likes to live a fast-paced life, believing that it is the most efficient lifestyle, Lam likes to take things at a slower pace. The actress reveals that her boyfriend is often late for his appointments and only changed his habit as a compromise in their relationship.
Ng says she can be ready to leave the house in five minutes, which is faster than some men can. The actress adds that she can't stand doing things slowly and detests tardy people as she, herself, doesn't like waiting.
She admires Lam for being hard-working, adding that men should not be lazy. Ng also likes it that he has a warm personality and takes care of his friends and family well.
"He has a warm personality and people who live slower lifestyles are more easygoing," says Ng, adding that she probably has to change and not rush too much, lest she makes wrong decisions in future.
Due to the 14-year age gap between Lam and Ng, their relationship has not been well-received by the public. The couple was often plagued with rumors, mostly putting the actress in bad light.
It was previously rumored that Lam's family didn't accept Ng because of the wide gap in their socio-economic standing, which has often cast the 20-year old actress as a gold-digger.
However, Ng did not let these rumors get in the way of their happiness, saying that she and Lam complement each other despite their differences.
