American musician and writer Jack White ranted in front of his fans at a live show in Boston last Wednesday, slamming the music magazine Rolling Stone and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.
The ranting incident was captured in a fan video that surfaced after White's performance at Fenway Park in Boston.

In the video, White claimed that the rock band Foo Fighters had a third guitarist, Grohl, and that the band had to use multiple guitarists in order to conceal possible mistakes they made in their performances.
White is also said to have criticized Rolling Stone, mocking the magazine for publishing articles with titles such as '10 Reasons Why RollingStone.com Didn't Cover the Newport Folk Festival for 50 Years Straight,' or '12 Reasons Why Rolling Stone Won't Put a Black-and-White Cover on Their Magazine - Unless You're Dead!'.
The rock artist was apparently not satisfied with what the magazine has been publishing lately.
Additionally, he said Jann Wenner, the head of RS, owns the US and has been 'keeping the paparazzi alive for more than 20 years' before comparing his rant to that of Kanye West, in reference to the rap artist's past controversial issues.
"I'm officially supposed to stop now because this is becoming a Kanye West-esque rant for Rollingstone.com," said White, adding that these days, artists are not allowed to talk about what they want with their fans.
A representative for the artist has then come forward to prevent any feud that may arise from what he said during the Boston show.
The statement released said White was merely joking. According to his rep, there had been a minor malfunction on his stage while they were setting up, and in order to keep the audience engaged, he made such jokes.
White is said to hold the Foo Fighters with respect and has talked with Grohl earlier the same day.
"So if you'll let us, we'll all continue with our day and we assure you: All is well in the rock n roll world," said the official statement by White's spokesperson.
