John Travolta, after years of being rumored to be gay, finally broke his silence in an interview with The Daily Beast published last Tuesday, September 16.
Aside from the homosexuality rumors, Travolta also spoke about the unresolved lawsuit filed against him by his former employee, Douglas Gotterba.

Travolta also faced a suit in 2012 where Fabian Zanzi, a former Royal Caribbean cruise room attendant, claimed that the actor disrobed in front of him and pushed him. According to Zanzi, Travolta also bribed him with $12,000 to keep mum about the incident.
The "Grease" actor stated that circumstances such as these are "every celebrity's Achilles heel." He added that it was all just about people wanting money and trying to exploit one's celebrity status to get it.
The actor was also asked why he was a warm target for similar issues and allegations. His reply was that he did not really care much about such things.
The veteran celebrity, who has been active for more than 40 years, shared that he may know the reason behind all these persistent rumors. He said, "Other people may attack it back more than I do, but I let all the media stuff go a long time ago because I can't control it. I think that's why it persists, to some degree."
Travolta especially hated being under the media spotlight when rumors regarding his sexuality began circulating as he was mourning his son's death back in 2009.
The "Pulp Fiction" star said that he found it offensive that people would talk about his son Jett's death that way.
While he said that sex is always a topic of interest for people, one should always keep it away from family matters.
Travolta recalled that that incident was too low an act on the part of the media.
