American singer Keyshia Cole was arrested Friday for mauling a woman who she believes to be having an affair with her boyfriend, rap artist Birdman.
The mauling incident happened right inside Birdman's West Los Angeles home, where Cole is said to have turned up early Friday morning.

As soon as security allowed her into the multi-millionaire producer's condo unit, the singer discovered that Birdman was with another woman, which prompted her to throw a fit and attack the woman, leaving her with scratches all over her face.
Cole was arrested around 5:20 AM and detained for seven hours at the Valley Jail in Van Nuys. LA police charged the 32-year old Grammy nominee with Misdemeanor Battery.
It also turned out that Cole, who starred in the reality show "Keysia Cole: The Way It Is" has a warrant of arrest for Reckless Driving.
Cole was released at 12:25 PM after she posted a total bail of US$46,000 covering both the Misdemeanor Battery and Reckless driving charges.
Neither Cole nor her representative issued any statement to media about the incident, but the singer took to social media to air her grievances and post harsh messages that were presumed to be directed at Birdman, although the two have never publicly announced their relationship.
On Thursday evening, before she got into the physical altercation at Birdman's condo, Cole had posted a photo of a bird in a storm on her Instagram account, captioning it, "Sometimes you just have to bow your head, say a prayer and weather the storm."
After being released from jail, the red-head singer posted a photo of herself with her dog, saying, "Me and my LolaMae! She knows my heart."
Birdman has yet to issue a statement about the incident, as well as a clarification on the status of his relationship with Cole.
