By the way the two cage warriors fought in their previous fights, fans and analysts did not see the fight going the distance.

With the first ring of the bell, tension was in the air -- the kind that is present when a knockout could happen at any moment. The two fighters made their way slowly toward the center of the ring, feeling each other out and saving energy for future rounds.

However, it did not take long for them to throw hard leather at each other. Hunt would come in and throw uppercuts and string combinations, while Nelson looked to land a haymaker.

Hunt showed his superior head movement and bobbed and weaved to avoid Nelson's shots. When each of them would get caught, they would take it and move forward like nothing happened -- a true testament to what fans and analysts call their iron chins.

Both fighters also showcased new skills in the octagon. Hunt threw hard leg kicks at his opponent, while Nelson shoot for several takedowns. Neither of the fighters were known for these techniques.

During the second round, Hunt went in for the kill.

Haymakers and strong hooks were thrown throughout the fight, often finding their mark, but none significantly rocking the other.

In the three minute mark, Hunt had Nelson on the cage. He peppered Nelson with jabs and keeping him at bay.

Hunt finally found what he was looking for when Nelson ducked down, meeting the Super Samoan's uppercut to the chin. Hunt only watched on as Nelson fell to the canvas and the referee stopped the fight.

Hunt is the only second fighter to knoc Nelson out after the latter's 30 professional fights.
