Assassin's Creed Movie Screening Moves to 2016

Opening day for the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie under 20th Century Fox and starring Michael Fassbender has been moved to 2016.
The original screening date for the movie version of the game was August 2015.
The opening is now set for 2016 due to several rewrites and the production itself has "grappled with scheduling issues," said The Hollywood Reporter, Hollywood motion picture industry, television, and entertainment website.

Fassbender will the lead star of the film directed by Justin Kurzel, who also directed Fassbender in Macbeth to be released in 2015. No other cast members have been announced for Assassin's Creed..
Fassbender said Assassin's Creed picture will be respectful of the game, no doubt a nice thing to hear for fans of the franchise.
He pointed out want to bring new elements to the movie version and perhaps their vision of thingss already exist in the game.
The announcement of the movie's delay was made in conjunction with the news that Fox is moving forward on a Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds.
Ubisoft, game developer and publisher, has a total of six movies lined up. The movies include Far Cry, Rabbids, Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon. The French publisher will retain creative control.
Meanwhile, the two new Assassin's Creed games will be out on November 11: Assassin's Creed Unity for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC; and Assassin's Creed Rogue for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
