With the unveiling of iPhone 6 last week, there's no doubt it'll be popular among consumers, including Apple fanboys.

Apple's iPhone 6 isn't the only smartphone in the market, however. For one, there's Sony Xperia Z3, which is a very popular new Sony smartphone model.

iPhone 6 Plus: It runs the new iOS 8 and has a 64 bit A8 chip for the not-yet-revealed processor. The internal storage comes at 16/64/128 GB. It also features NFC technology which allows mobile payments to be made.

Z3: It houses the most powerful Snapdragon 801 quad core processors, clocked at 2.5 GHz and supported by 3 GB of RAM. Thanks to Android 4.4 KitKat for its OS.

The 32 GB internal storage is expandable up to 128 GB memory using microSD card. Z3 can be connected to PS4 using the PS4 Remote Play. It also features DSEE HX technology for better sound quality.

Design and Display

iPhone 6 Plus: It has a 5.5 inch screen display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Its density is just 401ppi. The dimension is 151x78x7.1 millimeters and weighs 172 grams. iPhone 6 Plus has Sapphire glass protection.

Z3: Its screen display is 5.2 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 424ppi. The dimension is 146x72x7.3 and it weighs 152 grams. It has shatter proof glass for protection.

Camera Works

iPhone 6 Plus: It comes with an 8 megapixels sensor and is equipped with optical image stabilization. The dual LED flash allows the phone to take more quality photos in low light conditions.

Z3: Its rear camera has an impressive 20.7 megapixel resolution with ISO 12800 sensitivity. It can take photos of up to 5248 x 3936 pixels and record videos of 2160p at 30fps and 720p at 120fps.

Battery Life

iPhone 6 Plus: Apple didn't provide more details about the battery capacity but it claims the phone can work up to 12 hours working internet usage and doing talk.

Z3: It features a non-removable 3100 mAh battery and has up to 16 hours of talk time on a 3G network.

Price without Contract

iPhone 6 Plus: Fanboy can get the phone for US$749 without contract.

Z3: The selling price for the off contract version is US$700.
