After owning the house for nearly 10 years, actor Jake Gyllenhaal is now selling his place in Hollywood Hills at Los Angeles, California.
Reports said the actor listed for sale his almost two acres property for US$3.5 million.
Gyllenhaal, who is best known for his gay role in "Brokeback Mountain," bought the gated compound for US$2.5 million in 2005.

Insiders said the one-storey, three-bedroom home offers sensational panoramic views of the city.
They said the interior of the house provides an overall mid-century modern vibe with its art and furniture reflective of the actor's character and charm.
The property, which is protected by a security system, had an outdoor space that includes a patio, swimming pool, and large grassy yard.
Reports said the location is "ideal for getting to studios and throughout much of Los Angeles."
Gyllenhaal has reportedly checked out a townhouse in Manhattan, New York City, where he has been seen spending a lot of time with.
Meanwhile, the actor, who previously dated actress Kirsten Dunst and singer Taylor Swift, is now busy promoting the crime thriller "Nightcrawler."
The film, in which the actor also co-produces, was recently chosen as the opening night movie for the 10th Annual Film Independent Forum on October 24 to be held at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles.
Gyllenhaal, playing as Lou Bloom, shed 30 pounds from his 180-pound frame for the movie.
"Nightcrawler," which is about a career-hungry young man, who discovers the nocturnal world of Los Angeles crime journalism, opens in the United States and United Kingdom on October 31.
