Howard Stern Show's Eric The Actor Dies at 39

Howard Stern Show regular caller Eric Shaun Lynch, otherwise known as Eric the Actor to his listeners, has died of multiple organ failure after suffering from heart problems last Saturday, September 20, 2014. He was 39 years old.

According to media reports, Lynch was rushed to a hospital in Sacramento last Saturday. The radio stars organs were said to have failed due to a pre-existing heart problem and has been pronounced dead the same day.

The radio star has been suffering from a condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which is an inherited illness that affects connective tissues in the body.

Despite of having a poor health condition, Lynch is said to have outlived every doctor's prediction for his life span.

Lynch's manager, Johnny Fratto, has taken to Twitter the previous Sunday to announce the death of the radio star, saying, "I am so sorry and so sad to inform everyone that my friend Eric 'The Actor' Lynch passed away yesterday afternoon." Along with the post, Fratto included a snapshot of himself with Lynch.

The 61-year old manager to Lynch told a media outlet that the radio star has been surrounded by his family and friends when he died.

Lynch has been calling into Howard Stern's show since 2002. The first time Lynch's voice was aired was when he called to react on Stern's statement that American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson was not attractive.

Since said call, Stern had been interested in Lynch and the caller has later become a part of the SiriusXM radio program  called 'Wack Pack' where he got into verbal matches with the shock jock.

The radio star is said to have called into the show for the last time the previous week, telling the audience that his parents would be taking on his caretaking duties.

Lynch has made minor TV appearances in shows like 'American Dreams', 'Fringe' and 'In Plain Sight'.
