Since leaving TVB 13 years ago, Hong Kong actress Shirley Yeung is said to be earning more money with an estimated income of 200,000 RMB every month and earnings totaling to approximately 3 million RMB from promotions and appearances in China.
After leaving TVB, Yeung pursued her career in mainland China and is said to be earning more cash than she ever did working for the Hong Kong network. The actress didn't deny any of these claims, only saying that her income has been ideal so far.

According to media reports, the single-mother actress is very frugal which then made her capable of investing her savings into properties. The actress is said to own two properties in Hong Kong and has recently purchased a large area in The Wings III, A series which is included in the newly opened properties in Tseung Kwan O. The property is said to have been purchased under the name of the actress' father.
Despite being penny-wise, Yeung said that she does not withhold money when it comes to her daughter's needs. The actress is rather eager to send her daughter, Krystal Yeung, to an exclusive school wherein the actress has to pay $20,000 HKD a month for tuition fee.
While Yeung works in China, Krystal, who is now two years old, is said to be under the care of her grandmother. Despite problems in the past that involved the actress' mother, reports say that they are now in good terms.
As to her tarnished image after being caught in a scandal with TVB actor Gregory Lee and diver Andy Ng, the actress said she is currently maintaining a good image despite her controversial past.
Yeung claimed that she didn't have any projects lined up for her even before the news that she was pregnant of Ng's child broke out. The actress said that she is confident of her talent as an actress and will continue working hard in the future.
