Hong Kong actress Linda Chung is rumored to have been upset about Philip Ng's careless behavior, showing his affection towards her in public at a birthday party the two stars have attended together.
According to media reports, Chung and Ng have attended a birthday party along with their church friends just recently. At the party, Ng is said to have drank too much alcohol and started behaving carelessly around Chung who later got upset when the actor draped his arm over her shoulder in a public display of his affection toward her.

During dinner, Chung and Ng were said to have been seated together, but the actress ignored her boyfriend the whole time so as to avoid intimate behavior with him in public.
The actor is said to have taken in too much alcohol and started behaving playfully around the actress and the other guests at said function. According to sources, the actor stood beside Cheung on purpose when they were taking a group photo and draped his arm over her shoulder.
Chung is said to have allegedly attempted to brush him off gently by shifting away from him, but Ng continued to do as he pleased. Additionally, Ng is said to be feeding the actress in front of the guests. When the actress seemed to be coughing, the actor began tapping her back out of instinct.
The 'All That is Bitter is Sweet' actress reportedly glared at the actor, telling him to stop what he was doing. Ng's mood seemed to have plummeted after she did that and just sat quietly in his seat for the rest of the evening. The actor and the actress were said to have left the venue separately to downplay their relationship.
Speculations say that Chung's attempt to keep her relationship with Ng a secret is because she is trying to preserve her image. The actress is known for being career-minded and despite seven years of secretly dating the actor, she is not ready to reveal their relationship to the public.
Neither Chung nor Ng have given their responses about said rumor.
