Islamic State of Iraq and Syria has found another way to promote its violent murderous cause. The group has now used the popular video game these days: Grand Theft Auto.

The Jihadist group operating in parts of Iraq and Syria has apparently released a recruiting video styled after GTA. It was designed to entice younger members to join the group.

The media wing of ISIS stated that the video desires to “raise the morale of the mujahedin and to train children and youth how to battle the West and to strike terror into the hearts of those who oppose the Islamic State."

It features virtual fighters who are shouting "Allahu Akbar!" while attacking the U.S. military troops.

The video displayed repeatedly the Islamic State group's logo at the top of the screen, alongside the possible GTA styling video.

The new video recreates real footage of improvised explosive devices we frequently see in the news and detonation of the devices were shown as a convoy of vehicles drives by.

The video trailer opening showed a message written in somewhat broken English: "Your games which are producing from you, we do the same actions in the battlefields !!"

The ending of the video trailer displayed the words from “Flames of War,” miniatures wargame based on WWII, and added the tagline: “Fighting has just begun”.

GTA is known for characters who are stealing cars and driving at extreme speeds to avoid police cars. There will be bonus points for killing bystanders and other crimes.

This is not the first time that ISIS used the tech and media in terms of promotion. Previously, the terror group used Twitter and Diaspora to promote their evil doings and lure new members.
