Bring out that popcorn and binge-watch episodes of "Friends" because the much-loved series just turned 20!
And to celebrate the momentous event, here are some dating tips Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross have left in our psyche:
1. Don't date your stalker (no matter how gorgeous they are).

Soap star Joey Tribbiana, portrayed by Matt LeBlanc, decides to date his gorgeous and crazy stalker, Erica Ford. Erica was played by Brooke Shields.
While Joey thought that Erica was merely a Drake Ramoray superfan, Erica actually believed that what was going on with his character onscreen was actually happening in real life.
During their memorable date, Erica brings up how impressed she was with Dr. Ramoray's skill in reattaching a spinal cord. Joey then says, "Yeah, that was a tricky one. In reality, that operation takes like, over 10 hours, but they only showed it for 2 minutes." To which Erica replied, "Who's they?"
2. If you give your significant other keys to your apartment, don't change the locks.
Don't force yourself to commit to a relationship when you're not ready to.
In an effort to avoid talking about how his relationship with Mona was going, Ross decided to prematurely give her keys to his apartment. He then decided to change the locks.
A surprised Rachel asks, "You gave her a key to your apartment?!", to which Ross replied "Not just a key, I gave her the only key. I am now a homeless person in a very serious relationship."
3. A blind date can lead to marriage.
Not all blind dates suck. Not all blind dates are from hell. And not all blind dates setup by your friends can actually mean they know the person they're setting you up with.
Case in point - Joey, Phoebe and Mike.
Joey and Phoebe agreed that they would set each other up with each one's friends - only, Joey forgot and decided to pick a random "Mike" from Central Perk.
Things worked out for the best and Phoebe and Mike had their happily ever after.
4. Don't wait too long to tell someone that you love him/her.
Ross waited years to tell Rachel. Rachel then waited years to tell Ross. Meanwhile, they watched as each one developed romantic feelings for other people.
After Ross heard a drunk Rachel confessing that she was over her feelings for him in a voice message, Ross stated, "You're over me? When, when were you under me?"
5. Hooking up with a friend can be the best decision you've ever made.
An alcohol-infused depression over your brother's wedding might just prompt you to sleep with your best friend and, it might turn out to be the best decision of your life.
In Chandler and Monica's case, friends really do make the best lovers and life partners.
6. Define what "being on a break" means.
Does "being on a break" mean that you've broken up? Does it mean that you're no longer together and you can sleep with other people?
In the classic scene between Ross and Rachel in "The One With The Jellyfish", the two debate on whether or not they were broken up when Ross slept with the girl from the copy place. While Rachel insisted that Ross cheated, Ross disagreed, saying that they weren't technically together.
