A fan of the Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove has desperately tried to get her attention by threatening to kill himself because his love for the star has been unrequited.
A certain Joshua Stockton has posted shocking photos directly linked to her social networking site. The photos show him cutting his wrist, and one shows a bathtub with a hairdryer plugged into an AC outlet.

Joshua also sent gifts to Miranda through UPS but all of them have already been returned unopened.
Miranda has seen the fan and has filed legal action to seek protection, as she feels that her life is now in danger. She also noted that Stockton had trolled her accounts numerous times and would see him whenever she was in an event.
A certain time that Miranda talked about was when she saw Stockton at the University of Southern California, where she goes to school, and when she was at Disneyland. Every time the man knew where Miranda was, he would be on location and would try to interact with her.
The judge handling the case had ordered Joshua to stay away from the actress. However, the alleged stalker still would not stop, posting photos of the unopened gifts and showing that he clearly did not take Miranda's reaction to the gifts very well.
Miranda was said to be really frustrated with the photos posted by Stockton, although no official statement has been released by the actress' camp or representative.
Meanwhile, Miranda is still in the middle of a legal war with a truck driver from California with whom she was involved in a vehicular accident three years ago.
The accident caused Miranda a broken ankle. She sued the driver for US$50,000 as she was both disabled and disfigured when she appeared at her show then called "Drake and Josh." However, the driver had also filed a lawsuit saying that the actress' claim was exaggerated.
