Preciously, for the Tesla "insanity" in the global auto market, Wang Chuanfu thinks that Tesla plays a key role in promoting premium electric vehicles and understanding consumer behavior. Wang Chuanfu said, the developing mode for BYD Auto Company to develop supercars is different from Tesla Motors, Inc. So far, the target of BYD Company is to develop electric taxis and buses. "For our company, the technology of manufacturing electric cars is not a problem, but the market. In order to get new vehicles to expand capacity, it will be enough to invest for four to five years." Wang Chuanfu said. "Once Chinese families' consuming capability is activated, BYD can manufacture Chinese 'Tesla' in a short while."
