Microsoft Launches Xbox One in India, Exclusive Via Amazon

(Photo : Reuters) Microsoft's Xbox One is set to enter China's gaming market this year.
Microsoft finally announced that Xbox One is now available in India starting Tuesday.
Xbox One's pre-order started on August 6 and exclusively through Amazon.in. The Xbox One without Kinect bundle is US$650 (Rs 39,990) while Xbox One + Kinect Day One Edition is US$750 (Rs 45,990).

Consumers who pre-ordered the Xbox One without Kinect via Amazon.in will get FIFA 15 bundled for free. The pre-ordered Xbox One with Kinect bundle will have Dance Central Spotlight as well.
An eGift coupon worth Rs 2,000 is also included as a giveaway and can be used to get Rs 2,000 off on the purchase of Xbox controller, and Blu-ray set of two movies - The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America - The Winter Soldier worth Rs 2,500.
"We are pleased to announce three new apps on our platform; Bigflix, Gaana and Hungama -- with a wide genre of Indian movie and music content. The Xbox platform shall be the pivotal destination and we look forward to working with the entertainment industry to deliver amazing experiences to our users," said Chakrapani Gollapali, Country General Manager of Consumer Channels Group at Microsoft India.
The Xbox One set with Kinect comes with a wireless controller, a chat headset, a high-speed HDMI cable, a 500 GB hard drive, 2 AA batteries, power supply and AC power cord and a 14-day Xbox Live Gold Trial Card. In addition, players will get Kinect sensor, as well.
There is no price yet for the standalone Kinect sensor but the launch will be on October 7.
