Despite efforts done by producers to keep details of her comeback under wraps, the cover image for her new album as well as photos of the music video set has been uploaded online. It was then followed by a high-definition full version of her song 'Phone Star', now said to be available for streaming and download.

According to Taiwanese media reports, the person responsible for leaking the images and the song is an assistant designer working for the company that manages Tsai. Said culprit is said have been appointed to film the new music video and has since been fired.

When news of the leakage broke out, Tsai was in New York and not much has been done about it.

It wasn't the first time that contents of her comeback album will be leaked. Last month, her new song title has also been leaked. However, Tsai's manager and record label, Warner Music, refuted the possibility of the two leakages being done by one and the same person.

Tsai's manager expressed their frustration over the matter, saying that they have been upset about the matter since they put too much effort in preparation for Tsai's comeback.

"We are really angry and upset as we have been preparing for this album for a while and wanted to give everyone a surprise," Tsai's manager said, adding that it is unfortunate that infiltration of the Internet makes incidents as such to happen easily.

Tsai's manager also added that they will be increasing protective measures in the future to prevent such incidents from happening.

On the other hand, Warner Music has requested for netizens to take down the song online and warned that they will take legal action if they had to.
