Beijing - September 11th, this morning, Apple held a press conference in China for the first time, announcing its new iPhone 5s and entry-level iPhone 5c. However, the so-called press conference just played the video of the Apple's event in the U.S., without any other further information. It is said the senior officials of China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom didn't attend the press conference either. These three telecommunication companies are Chinese major mobile telecommunication providers, and all of them have collaborated with Apple before.

Previously, Apple held a press conference at the Apple campus in Cupertino, California to announce its new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. These two products will go on sale in the U.S., China, Australia and Japan on September 20th at the same time. In China, the price of iPhone 5s will range from 4488 yuan, while the price of iPhone 5s will range from 5288 yuan.
This time, Apple treats Mainland China as one of the first batch of global markets to promote its new products. Previously, Apple's new products usually started to go on sell in Mainland China two months later after they were unveiled publicly. According to analysts, Apple has placed great importance on Chinese market, and Apple is hoping to activate the world No.2 largest smartphone market in this way.
