English-Irish boy band One Direction star Liam Payne has denied featuring in nude photos that made its rounds online over the weekend.

In one of the images that emerged on social media Saturday night, a man, who allegedly resembles the 21-year-old singer, is seen sitting almost naked on a bed with just a black cap covering his crotch.

In another photo, the same guy appears of having sex with another man, which sparked speculation over the young star's sexual orientation.

But Payne immediately dispels the rumors and denied the authenticity of the pictures through his Twitter account on Sunday.

"Wow as if people think that weird photo going around is actually me lol think id rather tweet a full frontal than have people look at that," he posted.

"I'm 100% not homophobic. But I'm also 100% not gay so when somebody says that I am gonna say I'm not which does not make me a homophobe," he added.

Meanwhile, within minutes of the pictures' appearance on Twitter, the young star's fans began claiming that the pictures are fake and are clearly photoshopped.

His avid fans further claimed that the famous tattoos of the singer are not evident on the naked man's body.

They also said the guy has a heavier build than their famous One Direction idol.

Reports said it seems that Payne's pictures are not related to the latest round of celebrities' nude photos that were leaked on Reddit and 4Chan this weekend.

Kim Kardashian is reportedly among those stars, whose personal pictures have been recently hacked.

Actresses Vanessa Hudgens, Aubrey Plaza, and Gabrielle Unio; singer Rihanna; former child star and designer Mary-Kate Olsen; and American soccer player Hope Solo are also among those who are victimized.

New naked pictures of actress Jennifer Lawrence have also surfaced.
