Diablo III has a new patch for the PC version and is now up running live. The patch introduces some changes to increase the lives of users' pets.
The 2.1.1 patch is all about pets. Blizzard, the American video game developer, said it wants pet survivability to be equal to the player that summoned them.

Blizzard is decreasing the damage taken by pets from attacks players try to avoid. The life years of Witch Doctor's pets like Fetish Army, Gargantuan and Zombie Dogs are severely increased.
The new patch doesn't only deal with pets but consists of changes and fixes of note. It includes making Rift Guardians and Greater Rift Guardians drop more crafting materials, and turns the Key of Bones, Key of Gluttony and Key of War into group drops.
In short, when those items decide to drop, it will be for the entire party and not for some players.
Other changes are effortlessly adding sockets to jewelry and adjusting buying options from Kadala (the NPC who sells random items for Blood Shards).
The items, however, are now a bit expensive but are guaranteed to be legendary items.
Players can get the full patch notes from the Blizzard website. North Americans can now get it while other regions will have to wait a little longer for distribution worldwide.
