Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron was caught on camera saying the queen "purred down the line" after he told her that Scotland voted no to independence.
The prime minister's gaffe implying that the Queen was happy with the outcome of the voting is a breach of protocol that prohibits the prime minister from sharing his personal conversations with the monarch.

Other than the time when the Queen publicly urged Scotland to consider its future, Cameron's remark of her suggested reaction opposed he Queen's neutral stand during the entire referendum campaign.
Cameron shared the "purred"statement to former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Sky News accidentally caught it on video as both men were followed by camera when they walked through Bloomberg's building.
"The definition of relief is being the prime minister of the United Kingdom and ringing the Queen and saying: 'It's alright, it's OK'," Cameron was cited as saying. "That was something. She purred down the line."
There were several parts of the conversation that was imperceptible, but then Cameron was caught adding that the result of Scotland's vote should not have been as close as it was.
"It wasn't in the end, but there was a time in the middle of the campaign when it felt ..." he said.
Additionally, the prime minister was recorded joking that he was considering filing a lawsuit against the pollsters who reported that the voting was neck and neck, which gave him stomach ulcers because of dread.
The final results revealed that 45 percent of Scotland anted its independence, while a bigger 55 percent voted against it.
This was the first time Cameron was heard talking about the referendum and how nervous he was that the vote for independence would win.
Meanwhile, Cameron's office refused to comment on the gaffe, but Buckingham Palace was reportedly not pleased with it.
